The “Windy City Striders” annual Half Town Half Casper Marathon and 10K race events are back!  

This year on October 28th there will be 3 options – Casper Half marathon, 10k and 5k. All distances will start at the Tate Pumphouse (1775 West 1^st St, Casper, WY) at 9am. 

• The Casper Half Marathon will be an out and back , starting around the 3 Crowns Golf course, and then heading out along the Platte River Trails to the Paradise Valley Park turn around.

• The Casper 10k race will follow the Half Marathon course, with the turn around near the Mills River Access. 
• The Casper 5k race will be a loop around the 3 Crowns golf course. Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome, as are kids (under 12 must run with an adult), dogs and strollers.

The course will be open until 12pm for all distances.  If you believe you will need more time than 3 hours, you can begin your run/walk before the official start time and anytime after 8am. Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome, as are kids (under 12 must run with an adult), dogs and strollers.

Day of registration will be at the Tate Pumphouse from 8-8:45am, and all participants will pick up bibs the morning of.  Online registration will end at 8pm on Friday, Oct. 27, 2023.

Prices

Half Marathon – $45 ($35 for WCS Members)

10k – $40 ($30 for WSC Members)

5k – $30 ($20 for WSC Members)

The online registration platform we have always used has updated its policies due to changes in the law recently, and we are in the process of verifying out non-profit status for sales tax exemptions.  As such, we will open registration via our normal platform as soon as that process is complete.  Until that is completed, we will process advance registration over the phone.  Please contact us at 307-439-6449 and we will get you registered (we can process credit cards over the phone and have you sign the Waiver via E-sign).  If we don’t answer, please leave a voicemail and we will get back to you as soon as possible.  Sorry for any inconvenience!
