Start your off your Thanksgiving morning with “The Windy City Strider’s annual Turkey Trot”.

 This year’s event will again be a 5K starting at the Tate Pumphouse (1775 West 1st Street, Casper, WY) on Thanksgiving morning (November 23, 2023). Race begins at 9am.  Pre Registered please check in and pick up your bib by 8:45am.  Day of registration will be 8-8:45am.  Online registration ends at 8pm on November 22, 2023.

Athletes of all abilities are welcome, and the course is walker friendly.  If you think it will take you more than an hour to complete the 5k, you are welcome to begin early, please check in at registration to let us know you are doing so.  Kids under 12 must participate with an adult.  Pet are welcome, but you must abide by any applicable leash laws, and we ask you begin at the back to avoid tripping hazards.  You may use a stroller, but conditions may prevent stroller access depending on the amount of snow, we cannot guarantee the condition of the paths or whether they will have been plowed.

We also ask that participants bring a non-perishable food item, dog or cat food, cleaning supplies, or cash donation in an amount of your choice.  All donations will benefit Casper’s Poverty Resistance.  If you donate by check, please make the check payable to Poverty Resistance.
